GOLF

Girl’s Golf Team Coach: Gayle Jantzer
Graduated from Pearl River Central High School in 1967: Married to Mike for 42 years; mother of 3; grandmother of 5 (2 attending CCHS and 3 attending Grace): Member of First Baptist Church in Medford for 22 years: Took up the game of golf in 1981; has competed in numerous golf tournaments over the years.

Assistant Girl’s Golf Team Coach: Mike Jantzer
Graduated from Eagle Point High School in 1964; graduated from Southern Oregon College in 1970 with a degree in Physical Education: Owned and operated Cedar Links Golf Course for 24 years; semi-retired since 1994; owner of Janco Products, Inc.: Member of First Baptist Church for 22 years; currently serving on Grace Christian Schools Foundation Board.

Golf is called the sport of a lifetime; because you can continue to play throughout your life. Golf is also a sport of honor; in no other sport does a player call a penalty on himself-herself as in golf. As coaches one goal is to instill in our golfers the integrity and enjoyment of the game of golf; the main goal is to always be a representative of Jesus Christ on the golf course as well as in life.
